INFORMATION SECURITY SERVICE FOR COMPUTER DEVICES - Seiffi

SEIFFI is a service co-produced by SER-recycling, Kuusakoski, Inrego and Posti, which can be used to recycle Data devices responsibly and securely. Through the SEIFFI service, you can recycle equipment for both material recycling and reuse. You can safely recycle cell phones, tablets, laptops (max. 18”) and smart watches.

The journey of the device can be followed with Posti's tracking code from the parcel machine until the data is destroyed. When the data has been destroyed in Kuusakoski's security facility in Helsinki or Inrego's security facility in Vantaa, the sender will receive a certificate of this by email.

This is how the SEIFFI service works (service only available in Finish):

1. Go to www.seiffi.fi
2. Select the service you want; destructible or reusable devices. (The price is determined by the number of devices and the service)
3. Order a code for returning the device.
4. You will receive the code in your email within 30 minutes.
5. Package the device and take it to the nearest post office or parcel machine.
6. You will receive a confirmation in your email when the data on your device has been destroyed
